Scottish Mansions

Well we arrived in Paisley, Scotland to find ourselves staying in a real Mansion. The bathroom is bigger than Jayson's loft. But that is the end of the road not the beginning..

We left Grange-over-Sands to look at Cartmel Priory, a church some 3 miles from where we were staying. It is an Old Church which was built about 800 years ago. The place was full of history and Poppa really liked the lecturn. It was an eagle with wings spread to hold the Bible.

Nana realised that she had left her handbag at the B&B so we had to go back there to pick it up. Poppa was not happy but glad we weren't further dawn the road. as it was it took about 5 hours to go 23 miles. We drove up through the Lakes District to Windamere. We saw some hot Rods and Old cars on the road and the were gathering at Brownes Pier. We then drove across a mounitain pass to Penriths stopping halfwat to have lunch in a pub.. We had many stops as the scenery was spectacular.

The Scottish Border
We then got to the Scottish border and Poppa decided to get of the Motorway to see more of the countryside and it started to rain. and rain and rain all the way to Glasgow.

Once we settled into the Mansion we went for a drive to get some Dinner and Rusty took it literally. He found a sheep he wanted to eat but I convinced him that Shaun the Sheep was famous and so he had better leave him alone. ( Nana said that Shaun the Sheep is for Boaz). Shaun shakes a when you pull his tail .

Tomorrow is visiting relatives and friends. Hopefully we aren't visiting all 300,000 of Shaun the Sheeps rellies.

See you latter alligator
