Rellies and friends.

 Hi

Gordon & Lilias Martin
Sunday was a more relaxing day than most of the trip. We went to Church with Gordon a man who visited us a number of times in Perth. It was a Church of Scotland so Poppa was returning to his roots. It was a sad service though as their minister died on the Monday before. The church was very formal so i stayed hidden in Poppa's back pack.

Afterwards we went out to lunch with Gordon and sat in front of a log fire in a tavern and had a great time talking and eating, well Poppa and Nana did anyway. After lunch we went to the Hospital to see Lilias, Gordon's wife, who has had a stroke. It was good to see her and she had no idea we were coming so it was a big surprise.
Alison & Auntie May

Maureen & Auntie May
We then went to see Auntie May. It took Nana a little while working out the relationship but soon discovered Auntie May is the youngest sister of Poppa's Grandpa. We also met Alison and Maurene. We has tea and cake and shortbread and fruit bread and .....and then Auntie May insisted that we have dinner as well. We were stuffed full. Great time though and saw some old photos of Poppa's dad and mum before they got married. Auntie May is going to make me a kilt so I can be a Scottish Wombat.

Then it was back to the mansion to luxuriate in the ambiance of the place. ( I've been reading the dictionary).

Good night all
